הצהרת נגישות
אנו רואים חשיבות רבה בכך שכל אדם, כולל אנשים עם מוגבלות, יוכל להשתמש באתר gingerbreadgambit.com בקלות ובאופן עצמאי. האתר הונגש בהתאם לתקנות שוויון זכויות לאנשים עם מוגבלות (התאמות נגישות לשירות), התשע"ג-2013, ולתקן הישראלי ת"י 5568, המבוסס על הנחיות WCAG 2.0 ברמה AA.
מה נעשה באתר
- צבעי טקסט ורקע נבחרו לפי יחס ניגודיות שנמדד: לפחות 4.5:1 לטקסט רגיל ו-3:1 לטקסט גדול.
- ניתן לנווט בכל האתר באמצעות המקלדת בלבד, עם סימון פוקוס ברור, וקישור "דלג לתוכן" בראש כל עמוד.
- לכל תמונה בעלת תוכן יש טקסט חלופי; תמונות קישוטיות מוסתרות מקוראי מסך.
- מבנה כותרות היררכי, אזורים מסומנים (כותרת, ניווט, תוכן, כותרת תחתונה) ושפת העמוד מוגדרת.
- כפתורים אינטראקטיביים (כרטיסי החיילים) הם כפתורים אמיתיים עם תיאור לקוראי מסך ומצב פתוח/סגור.
- האנימציות קצרות ומופיעות פעם אחת בלבד; כשמוגדרת במכשיר העדפה ל"הפחתת תנועה" – כל האנימציות מושבתות.
- האתר מתאים את עצמו לכל רוחב מסך, תומך בהגדלת טקסט עד 200% ובמצב כהה.
- בכל עמוד יש תפריט נגישות (הכפתור הכחול בפינה): הגדלת טקסט, ניגודיות גבוהה, הדגשת קישורים, גופן קריא ועצירת אנימציות. התפריט פותח באתר עצמו ואינו שירות חיצוני, וההגדרות נשמרות במכשיר שלכם בלבד. התפריט הוא תוספת – ההנגשה עצמה בנויה בקוד האתר.
מגבלות ידועות
- צילומי המסך של המשחק הם תמונות של האפליקציה; הטקסט שבתוכם אינו נגיש כטקסט, ותיאורם ניתן בטקסט החלופי.
- האתר כתוב כיום באנגלית בלבד (למעט הצהרה זו). המשחק עצמו זמין גם בעברית.
- הצהרה זו מתייחסת לאתר בלבד. אפליקציית המשחק היא מוצר נפרד.

Accessibility statement
We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use gingerbreadgambit.com easily and independently. The site is built to meet the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.
What we have done
- Text and background colours are chosen by measured contrast: at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
- The whole site works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link on every page.
- Every meaningful image has alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages use a logical heading order, marked regions (header, navigation, main, footer) and a declared language.
- The interactive soldier cards are real buttons, with a screen-reader description and a pressed/unpressed state.
- Animations are short and play once; with your device's "reduce motion" setting on, all of them are switched off.
- The layout adapts to any screen width and supports text zoom up to 200% and dark mode.
- Every page has an accessibility menu (the blue button in the corner): larger text, high contrast, highlighted links, a readable font and stop animations. It is built into the site, not a third-party service, and your settings stay on your own device. The menu is an extra: the accessibility itself is built into the site's code.
Known limitations
- Game screenshots are pictures of the app; the text inside them is not available as text, and each one is described in its alternative text.
- The site is currently in English only, apart from this statement. The game itself is also available in Hebrew.
- This statement covers the website only. The game app is a separate product.
